Founder, CEO, and head coach, Micah, was inspiried to build a brand that represented the idea that we should always look for ways to build ourselves everyday for a better tomorrow. Whether it's in the gym, our jobs, relationships, or any other aspect of our lives, "Always Working" is a concept we should all strive for. After successfully teaching and creating wellness programs for best friends and co-founders, Max and Kory, the three of them knw this mentality of "Always Working" was something to be taught. Each of the founders value the human condition and allow our experiences to light the path of our futures. Together, A.W.A.Y Athletics has been deeply committed to helping others harness the past to transform their tomorrow by Always Working.

Living is moving and the moment we stop moving, we stop living. From the "Average Joe" to seasoned athletes still young at heart; everyone deserves the chance to live in a healthy body. If you have a body, you are an athlete. Although it's not always easy, with exercise, healthy food choices, & a willingness to challenge our own perceived limitations, each of us have the tools necessary to stay Anchored Young and make everyday the best day of our lives. MICAH IS AN ACCOMPLISHED COACH, ATHLETE, FOUNDER, AND HEAD COACH OF A.W.A.Y ATHLETICS. HIS COMMITMENT TO HIS CLIENTS, AND HIS PASSION FOR HEALTHY LIVING STEM FROM HIS OWN PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION AND JOURNEY. HE LIVES BY AND TEACHES CLIENTS AND ATHLETES ALL HE CAN ABOUT LIVING A HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER LIFE BASED ON HIS 3-ANCHOR TRAINING METHOD; LEARN, TRAIN, GAIN. MICAHS PHILOSOPHY IS STRONGLY INFLUENCED BY HIS OWN PERSONAL SPORTS BACKGROUND AND HIS EXPERIENCE WITH THE MANY DIFFERENT CLIENTS AND ATHLETES HE HAS WORKED WITH RANGING FROM BASEBALL, SOCCER, & BIKINI COMPETITORS TO COMPETITIVE AND COLLEGIATE CHEERLEADERS.

CO-FOUNDER | COO
MAX GREEN IS THE CO-FOUNDER AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF A.W.A.Y. ATHLETICS. BORN IN 1988, MAX ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH WHERE HE STUDIED AMERICAN HISTORY. MAX SERVED AN INTERNSHIP WITH THE ACLU OF UTAH, WORKING FOR THE LEGISLATIVE AND POLICY COUNSEL UNTIL HE BEGAN WORKING AS THE ADVOCACY COORDINATOR AND IN-HOUSE LOBBYIST FOR EQUALITY UTAH IN DECEMBER 2011. IN FEBRUARY 2014, HE JOINED THE INCREDIBLE TEAM AT REDDIT INC., WHERE HE SERVED IN MANY CAPACITIES INCLUDING CHIEF OF STAFF AND PUBLIC POLICY AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS ANALYST. MAX IS THE YOUNGEST OF THREE CHILDREN AND IS A PROUD RESIDENT OF THE GREAT STATE OF UTAH.

KORY UYETAKE IS THE CMO OF A.W.A.Y. ATHLETICS AND THE OWNER / GENERAL MANAGER OF UTAH XTREME CHEER. A PROUD GRADUATE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH, KORY AND HIS WIFE OF 12 YEARS, MORGAN YEAGER, SHARE A PASSION FOR CHEER THAT HELPED THEM FOCUS A CAREER ON DEVELOPING YOUNG PEOPLE INTO REMARKABLE CHEER ATHLETES. THEIR FAMILY-FRIENDLY COACHING PRACTICE, SETS THEM APART AND CREATES A UNIQUE FOUNDATION FOR THE MANY ATHLETES WHO CALL UTAH XTREME CHEER, HOME. KORY CARES DEEPLY ABOUT HIS FRIENDS AND HIS FAMILY. AN AVID LEARNER AND ATHLETE IN HIS OWN RIGHT, KORY ENJOYS RUNNING, WEIGHT LIFTING AND CAMPING WITH HIS FAMILY. KORY AND MORGAN ARE THE PROUD PARENTS OF TWO, AND RESIDE IN BEAUTIFUL HERRIMAN, UT.
